hi hi =)
haha. firstly i was so happy the whole of yesterday night when i opened my inbox lol. n today i found my lost textbooks in school. choir was good i mean my section. we have re-grouping :S ok i shall talk about tht later haha.so yup today was a happy day coz most of the stuff went smoothly n i found my books!! :D haha val hyuk kee n sharon came to play pool n dai dee lol. val won money. i lost a little but sharon lost the most lol. i know its not right to gamble lol. we play 10 cents stuff haha.
so yup! choir~ choir is going to HK on the 8. n im not really sure about the temperature then though. but it wont be warm so i kept scaring them n make them bring more clothes lol. coz we're planning to wear the choir gown to sing?! thts crazy. trust me we'll all became ice sticks before we can sing the second song. the wind will kill all of us! haha
so we had audition today. n when val n i sang. wth we were horrible. haha after listening to all the juniors sing lol. it was our turn n i dunno what happened. i sounded as if im slaughtering chickens. haha
audition was ok. lol but i heard tht alot of juniors complain about me :S they say i affected them alot coz of my face?! wth. haha i didnt even give any expression k? i just concentrated on listening n writing down stuff. i wasnt the one giving reactions lo. haha they say tht my no expression face is vr scary~ so sad!!! so when i dont have any exoression im actually dao? :'( omg. haha but if i smile throughout the 20 audition my jaw will drop eh! n hyuk kee said tht he thinks tht i look scary when i have no expression?! wth haha.
anyway, many of them were quite unhappy about the new grouping esp sop 2. but actually they are not under power. we have 6 in sop 1 n 6 in sop 2. if the sop 2s think that they are un evenly scattered. actually they arent. we grouped them according to their voices as in which range are they most suitable and also their volume.. besides the sec 2s will become sec 3s next year. which means they'll become seniors! so there;s no such thing as there is not enough seniors in sop 2. also.. we will graduate. so what happens if we graduate? haha its this long term thing. n if they think sop 1 will be over powered. we have vr soft voices too. n sop has stronger ones too k? sharon n felicia? u guys are loud. so have faith in urself. dont be upset le. n those tht got into alto from sops. maybe singing a lower key will be better for u? maybe u do sound brighter n nicer when its lower just tht u didnt realize? :)
besides wendy n the others aint back yet. plus the sec 1s next year. this is the best way to even it out. for SYF =) so when the next batch of sec 1 comes in. there will be even seniors, n good seniors with tone colour tht they will take after? haha. so im really sorry to everyone tht has to be seperated from ur friends.. :( u can make new ones! :) n besides, by trying this new section u might discover tht u are actually more suitable for this range of voice and sound even better! :D haha. dont worry about being seperated from ur friends. ITS OK! u can concentrate more during practice n catch up tht! see? haha. ><>
n the SYF set piece is not tht bad. really. the timing is not a problem. just count it in ur heart :) n pitch. we'll all do fine. so dont lose faith. n dont be afraid of doing it. coz if we restrict ourselves, the more we wont succeed :P lol. haha GAMBATE! go choir. lets chiong!! haha
